Our commitment

SignalSplit, operated by 2627147 Ontario Inc., is committed to providing a website and portal that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We strive to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Conformance

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for assistive technologies
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
  • Visible focus indicators
  • Sufficient color contrast (WCAG AA)
  • Alternative text on meaningful images
  • Resizable text without loss of content or function
  • Captions and transcripts where applicable for streamed content

Known limitations

Some third-party video player controls and live-stream previews may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively working with our vendors to close these gaps.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, U.S. users may file a complaint under the ADA with the U.S. Department of Justice. Ontario users may file a complaint under the AODA with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario.
